Lone Star Park Equine Hospital and Laboratory

Located just outside the stable gate entrance, this new state of the art facility is available to facilitate and assist the practicing veterinarians and trainers in the stable area with the best health care possible to the horses racing at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.

The hospital provides a surgery suite, which consists of a large operating theatre with two adjoining recovery stalls. Surgical procedures will consist mainly of orthopedic, arthroscopic and elective soft-tissue procedures.

The facility has an overhead X-ray machine, which will have the capability to do cervical spines, backs, hips, chests and abdomens. Other state of the art procedures available are Xerography, Scintigraphy, Ultrasound and a Video-Endoscope.

The laboratory combines both in-house and outside lab service and provides on-site Coggins testing as well as other essential procedures. The laboratory is able to offer the veterinarians their results quickly, efficiently and accurately.
